Another Apron for Me:)

I have been having some fun Sewing,

before I go back to school!

You know I just can't seem to pass up

Anything with Cupcakes

on it

Especially Fabric;)

I bought two different

Cupcake prints...

One I am Saving for a Curtain or Valance

in my New Sewing room

&

the other I decided to use to make this Apron.

I paired it with the Polka dot fabric

that I already had in my Stash &

I used Store bought bias

but,

I got a Bias making machine

&

Rotary cutter for Christmas!

This pattern is Simplicity 3670

I had never even opened the envelope but,

I Love trying New & Different apron patterns!!

I really Liked the end result, although

I did "Sew" the criss cross straps

in the back...the pattern actually called for

velcro. I thought sewing would

work better in the long run & I am Pleased

with how it turned out!!

I think I will use this pattern for my Upcoming

Cutie Pie & Chicken Lovin' aprons..Hope my partners

will also like this pattern!

Crochet Fun!

Last week here in Georgia, We were actually Snowed in for several days...

& that meant..Lots of time for Crocheting!

I made these lil Yummys(available in my etsy shop)

And I Finally finished this afghan I have been picking up & putting down

time after time;)

I also tried to teach myself to knit..
LOL!
I thought Maybe I could do a
dish cloth..
I kinda got it but it Sure ain't Pretty:)

Lately my Local JoAnn's is beginning to carry a Very Measley Holiday

fabric section.

It was the Same way during Halloween...So, I think I have Learned my lesson about Shopping there! I will either have to Plan Ahead & order Online or make the Trek to

Hancock's.

Anywho...

I had a Ball making this Apron. I LOVE the "Lily" Apron style!!

I had Received a Lily apron years ago in a swap & just Love how it fits and covers.

So, since my partner would prefer a Full apron, I made her this.

It isn't a Fancy Holiday apron but it's Flirty & Fun!

Our aprons had to have a Snowflake either in the fabric itself or Adorned or Embellished in some way. I attached 6 Snowflake Buttons...2 on each strap & I scattered the other 2 buttons on the front of the apron for a Little Surprise sparkle;)

Also, in this Swap we had to choose a Holiday themed Word & for each letter in Our chosen word, We are to include a Tuck-in.

So FUN!
