I would like to have a rose garden at our New Home:)

This is actually my Daughters rose...

We each got to chose a rose at the nursery

& this is the one she chose:)

& it made the transition from our last house to this one...

Hope its ready for another move;)

Spring Mug Rug

I recently joined my First, Mug Rug Swap!

I had Never even made a mug rug before

but I was seeing them all over blogland & really wanted to try it.

So...

this is my Very 1st Mug Rug, made for

Karin in Sweden!

I used a pre-pieced madras main fabric & then added

Polka Dots for the back & binding;)

I wanted to add a flower applique made from my new Cricut but,

I was running short on time so I made a Felt flower &

used the ZigZag for the stem & leaves.

I think it turned out pretty Cute for my 1st try:)

Then I wanted to add a little more Cute to the package

So, I made these Yummy felt Donuts!

I think they Look Good enough to Eat & Sooooo Easy:)

Early Birthday Present!!

Hubby surprised me yesterday & told me to

go to B & N and

pick up

the

NOOK COLOR,(early b-day present)

I have been pining for since

last year!

I could hardly drive, I was So Excited!

You know when you're in a Hurry

to get somewhere & it seems

all the slow pokes & goofballs

just have to be in front of you!

Geez! Didn't they know

I had to be somewhere ASAP??

Anyway...

I finally made it, checked out the nook color

One more time & almost Ran to the check-out counter;)

The only bad part was...B & N is about an Hour away

from our house:(

Dang, that was the Longest trip home of my life

& then

just like My Cricut Expression...

I had to wait(once again) until Everyone else

was finished playing with my

New Toy!

I finally downloaded a few books, around Midnight..jumped in bed & started reading:)

Often times when reading/sleeping..I wake myself up by dropping

the book I'm reading on my belly..Lol

I enjoyed my new Nook & book so much...

that didn't happen last night!

A Cricut Expression...Just for ME!

Eeeeeeee!

Look what Fedex FINALLY brought me!

I have been waiting & waiting & waiting...

and Since I received it, I haven't been able to get near it!

My daughter & her friends have been having a ball with it & they won't even

let me Touch My new toy!!

She had her BFF spend the night & they literally spent the entire night

playing with the Cricut! I think they finally went upstairs about Midnight.

I also found the Sure Cuts A Lot

on youtube & purchased that too.

It is Amazing! You really Can do anything imaginable with that software!!

My daughter has been making pages to slip in the front sleeve of every one's notebooks

at school. She really learned this cricut thing fast...I'm gonna

need her to show me how to work it.

& I'm also gonna need a New blade soon;)

I have been Collecting Milk Glass

for over 10 years now..

I normally don't pay too much for my pieces,

Usually picking up these Pretties

at My favorite Junkin' spots, Garage sales or Estate sales.

I am Lucky to have a Mom

who also likes to frequent the same kinds of places!

She found these Shell Pink pieces

last week at an Estate sale!

I think she Really bought them with the intentions

of keeping them for herself

but...

just like the Sweet Mom that she is..She Lovingly handed them

over & here they are!
